The Queen’s Jubilee -Update

The government have already announced that there will be Bank Holidays on Thursday 3rd June and Friday 4th June. A day of celebration will be held on the Green, probably on the Friday, with various activities taking place throughout the day and into early evening. More details will be announced when finalised.

A whole day’s celebration is currently being planned for the Platinum Jubilee from 9am until late on Friday June 3rd.

This event will be free to all villagers, we will ask for donations for some activities, with the exception of the bar and BBQ which will have their usual price lists.

Throughout the day there will be various events, demonstrations and entertainment. 

Running alongside the main events there will be plenty for our younger villagers to do (arts & crafts, games, penalty shootout, toy & chocolate tombola’s plus more yet to be confirmed).

This event is currently being supported and organised by The Ockley Society, Ockley Cricket Club, Ockley Toddlers Group, various Church groups, individuals and local businesses.
