Ockley pantomime needs you

Work starts on the 2023/24 pantomime in a fortnight’s time on Sunday 8th October at Ockley Village Hall

There are two sessions that day:

2p.m. for dancers and all non-actors.

There will be a free try out session for the dancers starting at 2p.m. and finishing at 3p.m. Susy, our choreographer, will be taking the children through this year’s dance routines, for them to judge whether they would like to return and more fully learn the dances. The routines are suitable for: 5-9 year olds, 9 to 12 year olds, and for teens. All children are welcome to come along to try out.

  • Running at the same time is a meeting for the backstage crew. Whether you are interested in learning about the set and its design, build and painting, or costumes, admin roles, stage management, child safety roles, then this meeting is for you to come along and satisfy your curiosity.

 3p.m. for potential actors.

We will be reading through the script; everyone will have a chance to read parts out loud. At the end of which (around 5-5.30p.m.) you will be invited to complete a form expressing any preferences you might have.
