Comedy Night

Ockley Dramatic Society presents Matthew Konkel’s Jake Revolver - Freelance Secret Agent.

Community Theatre began in Ockley in 1948, 75 years later local enthusiasts are still bringing live theatre to Ockley. Since we celebrated our 70th anniversary, we have been able to put on both Spring, Autumn and Pantomime productions, until the pandemic struck, since which our ability to put on productions has been reduced.

To celebrate this Anniversary, we are delighted to reintroduce a Summer Production (in addition to our pantomimes) with an evening of light comedy.

It was a long hot night in San Noir City and nothing was stirring, not even a spoon. The atmosphere was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. Heck, knives are sharp, a revolver is safer. Jake Revolver, Secret Agent, was experiencing a down turn in his office when the phone rang. It rang once, it rang twice. Things were looking up. Or at least Jake was, his attention was drawn to the ceiling. “Jake Revolver, Secret Agent, when a wrong needs righting, I’m your man - what do y’all want?” and so it started... to find out what happens next in our exciting episode, tune into Ockley Village Hall.
